About Me

All of our wounds happen in relationships. So does our healing.
I am a healer and have been drawn to helping others as long as I can remember. I believe we come into this life with everything we need. Often times the key to recovery is uncovering all the resources we have within that have been forgotten. I am a licensed mental health counselor in Florida (Lic#MH11529) and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina (18369) and have worked with survivors of trauma for over 15 years. I have done crisis counseling and therapy for non-profit organizations and in private practice, and found both deeply rewarding ways to be a part of the solution. I use a variety of holistic methods and techniques in my work with clients and will meet you exactly where you are.

I specialize in treating sexual trauma, birth trauma, and maternal mental health. I approach healing from a mind, body, spirit perspective. What are your thoughts and neurological patterns that are stuck and need adjustment? What emotions and sensations are in your body and asking to be released? What belief systems do you have about how you fit into this world and how can they connect you to something bigger than yourself?

When I became a mother, I began to understand that the process of becoming a parent is full of beginnings, endings and sometimes deeply traumatic events. As I have engaged in the task of raising tiny humans to be the most authentic versions of themselves, I have learned that the journey is vast and holds the entire spectrum of grief and joy in its' hands. We all need mothering, sometimes most of all after we have graduated from our own childhood. This experience has humbled and strengthened me and I am proud to bring this beauty and spiritual awakening to our work together as your therapist.
